Fried Green tomatoes and a totally retro corningware pitcher I found at a garage sale...full of sweet tea. :) Mom made a fried feast for us last Sunday with all of our Farmer's Market finds. Fried chicken, fried okra, fried green tomatoes paired with cornbread, purple hull peas, and lots of "yummmmmms!"
Several hours later we had some pool time!

Man, that feast sounds delicious!! I sure hope that Charlie will come on out while your mom is here. What did the airline say about changing her flight?? Babies are so fickle aren't they. They never come on your time. It's always when they want to make their presence known.
@Candice Well, it was supposed to be $150, but you also have to pay the difference in fare, so she'd have to stay like a month to get the same fare she had here! So, she's leaving this evening. I should have had her come later so she'd be here to meet her whether she made it for the birth or not. It's very disappointing, but maybe all the crying will help me go into labor.
Freddie is so precious!!
