I have a few scraps of fabric that I can use, but nothing that would be very cohesive. I have all the instructions except for the scallop template which I forgot to make a copy of when I had the opportunity. Sorry, Andrea! I'm just going to draw one and use it so they all look equally whoppy jawed. I think that's how you spell it. Oh, my other plan is to make it reversible. I want one side to be girly for Addie and the other side to be boyish for Freddy. That means double the stenciling and fabric paint and hoping that my fabrics are all dark enough not to show through...hmm, would it be easier to just make two?

Goal for Sunday
With the b-day party planning in full swing, I've added something to my list. I wanted to make one of these for Freddy's birthday but didn't have time. I still don't have time, but I'm going to accomplish this! There is a birthday banner in Alicia Paulson's book, Stitched in Time, that I really want to complete. I borrowed this picture from the flickr photo group where they post pictures of projects completed from the book. I hope mine can look somewhere near this cute. I also just remembered this whole "party favor" thing. Hmm, things keep slipping through the cracks. I didn't do any for Freddy's party, I wonder if people judged me?

I am wishing you good luck on your goal. I just had an idea of a twist I might add to mine. I still want to do this as well, I have a little bit more time than you.
That's a super cute idea. Can't wait to see it!!!
I got my fabric today! It tok a long time to pick out and cut 1/4 yards from each bolt, but I'm very pleased.
don't stress yourself out! it will all get done when you can. I'm stressing about favors too...anxious to see what you do.
